Main Markets

Terminology varies by sport. In football, results are decided by goals; in basketball, by points; in tennis, by sets; in E-sports, by maps. Participants can be teams or individuals, and time frames can be a match, half, quarter, or map. The markets below are the ones you'll see most often on the 1King betting line.

  • Match Winner: You predict which side wins the match.
  • Handicap: You predict the winner after a virtual points adjustment. If the score is level after the handicap is applied, we void the bet.
  • Asian Handicap (split line): A handicap value that is a multiple of 0.25 but not of 0.5. We settle it as two separate half-bets.
  • Over/Under: You predict whether the combined score lands above or below a set number. If the total matches that number exactly, we void the bet.
  • Double Chance: One bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (1X, X2, or 12).
  • HT/FT (Half-Time/Full-Time): You predict both the half-time result and the final result together. Extra time isn't part of this market.
  • Correct Score: You predict the exact final score.
  • Both Teams to Score: You predict whether both sides score at least once. An own goal counts in favour of the opposing team.
  • Nth Goal/Point Scorer: You predict which side scores a specific goal or point in the sequence, based on the official match record.

General Settlement Rules

The rules below apply to every bet on 1King, regardless of sport. Where a sport-specific rule differs from these general rules, the sport-specific rule takes priority. These rules apply to both pre-match and live bets.

  • If a match is postponed by more than 36 hours from its announced start time, we void all bets on it.
  • If a match is interrupted and isn't finished within 12 hours of its start, we void any unsettled bets not yet decided.
  • If the "home" and "away" teams are swapped by mistake, we void all bets โ€” unless the match is played on neutral ground.
  • Match rules are set by the tournament's official governing body, unless the betting line states otherwise.
  • If an event's name, venue, or format differs from what's listed on the betting line and that difference affects the outcome, we void the affected bets.
  • Wherever General Settlement Rules conflict with Sport-Specific Rules, the Sport-Specific Rules apply.

Sport-Specific Rules

On 1King, we apply separate general rules and market settlement rules for football, basketball, tennis, and E-sports โ€” the four sports with the highest betting volume on our line. For other sports betting options, the general settlement rules above apply. Each section starts with General Rules (interruptions, postponements, format changes), followed by Market Rules for that sport's individual bet types.

โšฝ Football

General Rules

  • We accept football bets over regular time, including referee-added stoppage time. Events in stoppage time count as happening in the 45th or 90th minute.
  • If a match is interrupted and isn't finished within 12 hours, we void unsettled bets not yet decided at the interruption.
  • If the match format changes without notice and doesn't fit the betting terms, we void the affected bets.
  • Full time equals regular time: 90 minutes plus referee stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs fall outside this window.
  • If the home and away teams are swapped by mistake, we void all bets โ€” unless the match is played on neutral ground.

๐Ÿ€ Basketball

General Rules

  • Unless the betting line states otherwise, basketball bets include overtime if regular time ends level.
  • We settle Match Result (3-Way) bets on the regular-time result only. Overtime isn't included.
  • If a match is interrupted and isn't finished within 12 hours, we void unsettled bets not yet decided at the interruption.
  • If the home and away teams are swapped by mistake, we void all bets โ€” unless the match is played on a neutral court.
  • If the Mercy Rule is applied during a match, we settle bets on the official score at the moment the rule takes effect.
  • In two-legged knockout ties, a match can end level without overtime. In that case, we only count overtime for bets on which team advances to the next round.

๐ŸŽพ Tennis

General Rules

  • All match bets stay valid until the tournament ends. If the tournament is cancelled or interrupted and not completed, we void the bets.
  • If a match is interrupted or a player retires or is disqualified, and at least one set was fully completed, the match-winner bet stays valid. We settle it on the umpire's ruling. If the first set wasn't completed, only already-decided outcomes stand; we void the rest.
  • If a player is replaced in a doubles pairing, we void the related bets. A lineup change in singles doesn't affect match-winner bets.
  • Court-surface information is for reference only. Bets stay valid even if the surface changes.
  • The match format can change later โ€” for example, best-of-3 becoming best-of-5. Bets already settled stay valid; we settle the rest according to the outcome.

Market Rules

If a Championship Tie-Break (played to 10 points) decides a set, we treat that set as finished 1-0 on games. If this wasn't announced pre-match, we void related bets.

๐ŸŽฎ E-sports

General Rules

  • The match format (Bo1, Bo2, Bo3, etc.) is set by the tournament and shown on the betting line. If the format changes, we void all bets.
  • If a team changes its name or is acquired by another organisation but keeps at least half its roster, bets stay valid.
  • If four or more players on a roster change before a match starts, we void the bets. If a player is eliminated mid-game but the team continues, we settle bets on the outcome.
  • Server crashes, network issues, or DDoS attacks can occur. In those cases, bets stay valid after a re-host or replay.
  • If an early forfeit occurs on a map, we void unsettled bets up to that point. If a forfeit happens later in the game, we settle bets on the outcome.
  • These rules apply to CS, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, and similar popular E-sports titles.

Tournament Winner.Settled on the named organisation's official results. If the tournament isn't completed, we void the bets.

We assess server-side interruptions under each game's own rules. Destroying the enemy's main structure (Ancient/Nexus) decides Dota 2 and League of Legends matches; reaching the set round count decides Counter-Strike and Valorant.
